Ameraucana Chicks
Ameraucana Chicks are always a great addition to the backyard flock and their beautiful blue eggs make your basket pop!
Our Ameraucana flock is covered by recessive white (black with recessive white expression) roosters from Paul Smith, and our hens are black split self-blue/lavender, white, and self-blue/lavender. We developed our lines over the years while adding genetics from Paul Smith and Max Strawn.
Ameraucanas are a lovely bird with excellent temperaments. They have clean shanks and slate-black legs. They are well known for their fluffy beards and muffs which gives them personality for days! They are a large bodied bird who lay consistently throughout their season before going into molt in the fall.
Chicks are sold straight run, unsexed.
Shipping
Chicks are packaged in USPS approved shipping boxes, and sent USPS Express one to two day mail. The shiping is a flat rate for 6-25 chicks. We have a 6 chick minimum during the Spring and Summer to make sure the group stays warm enough during transit (10 chick minimum from October 1 to April 15th).
